Prosecco Wine is recognized to be a white wine of Italy. It is generally a variety of sparkling, dry rather Extra Dry wine. It is normally a product which has been made out of Glera grapes which means “Prosecco”. This Prosecco wine is generally produced in the entire regions of the Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia situated in Italy. It is a tradition that mainly all the areas which are situated near the places Valdobbiadene and Conegliano, which are basically in the hills of the northern part of Treviso.
Prosecco has also been known to be the core ingredient of making the cocktail called Bellini and it also has become more popular recently as it has been a worthy substitute of Champagne and also less expensive.
Prosecco is not like its main competitor in the commercial market, Champagne. It is mainly produced after using the Charmat method. In this method, the incident of secondary type of fermentation occurs in the tanks made by stainless steel. It makes the wine to be much less expensive in case of production.
The approx number of bottles produced is 150 million on an annual basis. Prosecco is now produced in other countries also with great popularity.
